The 14 Year Old Boy Who Was Shot During Mass Protest Admitted At Kenyatta Hospital

Fourteen-year-old Boniface Ondiek is currently awaiting a medical operation in the Kenyatta University Hospital theatre following a shooting incident.

The youngster was reportedly met with a bullet as police opened fire at Azimio protesters who they had tried dispersing with teargas.

His father Justus, a cobbler in Embakasi, said that his son had been transferred to the theatre and was crossing his fingers for the operation to turn out successful.

"He's a pupil at Craving Joy. He was shot in the chest and was admitted to the Kenyatta University Hospital on Thursday evening. He has been taken to the theatre where we are waiting for the medic's report," he said.

Another victim of police brutality on Thursday is Brian Omondi who was shot in his right thigh.
